Developing the Organic Sector: Silk Road Peace Ambassador NGO Strengthens Ties with Biofach

A board member of the NGO "Silk Road Peace Ambassador" from Tajikistan met with Alexander Lissak, a representative of Biofach, International Business Manager.
Mr. Boymamat introduced the team of our NGO "Silk Road Peace Ambassador" and spoke about our activities. They discussed the changes taking place at Biofach. Mr. Boymamat provided a detailed description of our organization:

Currently, six Central Asian countries are united, working to promote the interests of organic producers and processors;

We are in negotiations with IFOAM – Organic International;

Last year, the first Organic Forum and Expo was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan;

A similar Expo is planned for August 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

During the conversation, Alexander noted that working with the Central Asian market presents certain challenges and requires significant effort, but suggested exploring possible formats for cooperation between our NGO and Biofach. He noted the idea as interesting and promised to discuss it with colleagues and provide feedback. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with Biofach.
