🌟 Organic Expo – 2026 Successfully Concluded in Mongolia

On August 29–30, 2026, the III Central Asian Organic Forum and Organic Expo– 2026 were successfully held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The event broughttogether representatives of the organic sector, government and internationalorganizations, producers, processors, exporters, experts, the scientificcommunity, and certification and accreditation bodies.

The forum became an important regional platform for professional dialogue,experience sharing, and discussion of current issues in organic production,sustainable agriculture, and international cooperation. The program includedplenary and thematic sessions, expert and best-practice presentations, anorganic products exhibition, B2B meetings, and a practical field program.

Current Issues in Organic Development

During the forum, participants discussed a wide range of issues ofparticular importance to the further development of the organic sector inCentral Asia and Mongolia. Key areas included organic crop and livestockproduction, pasture-based and nomadic livestock farming, certification andaccreditation, trade and export of organic products, research andinnovation, sustainable food systems, and regional cooperation.

Special attention was paid to climate resilience in organic production,biodiversity conservation, soil health, biological plant protection methods,green energy, circular solutions, and adapting agriculture to climate risks.These issues were also addressed during a special session bringing togetherexperts from different countries.

📜 Declaration — An Important Outcome of the Forum

One of the important outcomes of the forum was the preparation and adoptionof the Ulaanbaatar Declaration. The document was prepared based ondiscussions and joint work by forum participants and reflects the main areasfor further cooperation in organic agriculture.

The text of the Ulaanbaatar Declaration will be published on the officialOrganic NGO / Organic Silk Road website after the forum materials have beenfinalized. The Declaration will be available to all interestedorganizations, experts, producers, and other participants in the organicmovement.

💻 Forum Presentations and Materials Will Be Available Online

Another important outcome of the forum was the large volume of professionalmaterials presented by international and regional experts during thethematic sessions. Presentations, reports, and materials on the main topicsdiscussed during Organic Expo – 2026 will be collected and published on theofficial Organic NGO / Organic Silk Road website, allowing the knowledgegained to be used in further professional activities.
