Organic Cotton Summit 2026

The Organic Cotton Summit is an international industry summit dedicated to the development of the organic cotton market. Held June 2–4 in Istanbul, Turkey, it brought together farmers, textile manufacturers, brands, suppliers, investors, NGOs, and government representatives.

The event's key topics included:
• Sustainable and regenerative organic cotton cultivation;
• Supply chain traceability and compliance with new regulatory requirements;
• Climate resilience, soil health, and farmer support;
• Collaboration across the textile industry to scale up organic cotton production.

The program included plenary speeches, thematic panels, practical workshops, regional discussions, and, on June 4, a field trip to an organic cotton farm and gin in Turkey's Aegean region.

Following the summit, participants called for increased investment, strengthened collaboration, and a more equitable sharing of responsibilities and risks across the organic cotton supply chain.
